From source systems to a number someone trusts
Definitions are agreed before the first dashboard: what counts as a sale, an active customer, a closed ticket. Pipelines are scheduled, monitored and re-runnable, so a failed load is visible rather than silently stale. Access follows the same rule as the systems feeding it, with row-level and role-based controls where the data is sensitive.
